Camp Guidelines

BOYS / YOUNG MEN​

 

- Boys/young men are not permitted to wear anything that pertains to a girl or young woman.

- Boys/young men are not permitted to wear any tight-fitting clothing, including but not limited to pants, shirts, or suit coats.

- Boys/young men are not permitted to wear shorts of any kind, not even when pants are worn underneath them.

- Boys/young men are not permitted to wear their undershirts as regular shirts, and shirt sleeves are to be worn below the elbow.

- Boys/young men are not permitted to wear shirts with inappropriate slogans.

- Boys/young men are not permitted to have any facial hair and should be clean-shaven and have a neat and clean haircut with hair off of their ears and out of their eyes.

- Boys/young men are not permitted to wear any type of jewelry or makeup

 

​GIRLS / YOUNG WOMEN

​

- Girls/young women are not permitted to wear anything that pertains to a boy or a young man

- Girls/young women are not permitted to wear any tight-fitting or see-through clothing, including but not limited to skirts, shirts, and dresses.

- Girls/young women are not permitted to wear their undershirts as regular shirts, and shirt sleeves are to be worn below the elbow

- Girls/young women are not permitted to wear shirts with worldly slogans.

- Girls/young women are not permitted to wear pants at any time, and all skirts and dresses must be a length that covers the knees even while seated and should not have any slits that are above the knee.

- Girls/young women are not permitted to wear low-cut tops; all necklines must be no lower than two finger widths below the bottom of your neck.

- Girls/young women are prohibited from wearing makeup, jewelry, and painted or non-painted artificial nails.

GENERAL CAMP RULES

1. No one is to bring audio/visual equipment such as iPods, radios, TV’s, DVD players, etc. Also, no matches, fireworks, knives, or any device that could be dangerous or disruptive to the camp.

 

2. Campers are not allowed to leave the grounds after they register with the camp host or head counselor unless it is a planned outing with the group.

 

3. All campers are expected to be prompt at all meals and meetings unless excused by the camp host or head counselor. All campers are required to attend all services and participate in activities.

 

4. Boys are not permitted to enter the area of the girls’ teepees or cabins, and girls are not permitted to enter the area of the boys’ teepees or cabins. This also means they should not be in the area of the other’s baths or showers.

 

5. Every camper must be responsible for his or her own bedding and personal property. All should give respect to the camp facilities and property of others.

6. Any camper defacing any property or tampering with property of another must pay the damage incurred and can be expelled immediately.

 

7. Absolute reverence, and respect is expected from every camper during services. Participation in worship is strongly suggested. These services should be high moments of inspiration and encouragement.

 

8. Staff and campers are required to stay in their teepees and cabins each night. No lights or noise, which disturbs others, will be permitted.

 

9. All campers are to remain in their assigned areas of sleeping. No switching is permitted without consent of counselors and the head counselor.

 

10. Young Men and Young Ladies are not to hold hands, embrace, or wander into unlit areas.

 

11. No fighting or foul language allowed.

 

12. In the interest of keeping the true camp experience, campers under 18 will turn in devices before service on the first night, and will receive said devices back on saturday morning. Failure to turn in devices will result in parents being notified of disorderly conduct and could possibly affect future camp participation.

 

13. In the interest of protecting the privacy of each camper, for campers 18 and over, image technology (still and video) and cellphones shall not be used as such in bathrooms, showers, and sleeping areas. Failure to comply with this policy may result in the confiscation of said devices till the end of camp and deletion of the content of said devices.

 

IMPORTANT

It is mandatory that all campers have their pastor’s approval to attend.

 

By agreeing to the Camp Guidelines, you acknowledge that both yourself (as the authorized registrant) and the participant (camper), which may be the same person, agree that the camper will follow these guidelines.
